Ready series or custom charms: which to start with

When you plan a charm range, the first decision is whether to start from designs a factory already makes or to have your own designs made from scratch. Both start at 100 pieces per design with us. They differ in time, cost and how exclusive the result is.
Start from a ready series when
- a theme you need already exists, such as mushrooms, corgis, doughnuts or a holiday;
- you want to test a category in your stores before investing in your own artwork;
- you need charms soon and want shapes and colors that have been produced before.
You can still make a series yours: change the colors to match your range, add your own text, mix designs from different series into one set, and pack them on backing cards with your brand. Browse our nine series.
Go custom when
- your brand needs shapes nobody else sells;
- you already have characters, a mascot or a logo of your own;
- the charms are part of a larger product line or a licensed program.
Custom charms need a new mold for each design, $30–80 depending on complexity, and an approved sample before production. Samples take about 3 business days after the artwork is final. See how the mold fee works.

A practical mix
A range can combine both: a few ready designs to fill the assortment quickly, and a few custom hero designs that only your brand sells. Tell us what you have in mind through the quote form, and we suggest a mix that fits your budget and date.
